- Parking issues during classes at Fireborn
- Street cleaning
- Parking permits
- Fireborn Parking Placards
- Free parking
Note: There are some blocks where permit is not required, and others where there is no street cleaning. Look for the absence of signage. The city’s policies are random make no sense.
Street cleaning occurs on the first and third Wednesday and Thursday morning of the month, from April to November on some streets. So be aware of the signage.
Permit Parking is in effect from noon to midnight on some streets. The sighs are confusing so I will explain how it works. From midnight to noon there are not restrictions. From noon to midnight you can park for up to 2 hours.
So there are no permit parking issues for morning classes, but there are street cleaning issues, and the opposite is true for evening classes.
If you are in an evening class, I have leased space in a nearby Rite Aid parking lot. Come into the studio for a parking permit placard if you want to park there during the evening. You can also park along Carson Street because the meters are free after 6:00, or on one of the random streets that does not require a permit.
